As you know Japan has been hit by a 8.9 quake. As a resident of Japan this is in an extremely sad and very emotional time for me as well as many of my friends.
All my thought and prayers go out to these poor people during this extemely hard time. The people so greatly affected my this have shown great dignity and strenght. My heart aches for the people who have lost so much in the last 48 hours. Please keep the people of Japan in your thoughts and prayers and if you would like to help here is some information on how to do so.
AMERICAN RED CROSS: Emergency Operation Centers are opened in the affected areas and staffed by the chapters. This disaster is on a scale larger than the Japanese Red Cross can typically manage.
