Tsuyu ( or Baiyu) - Plum Rain/ Rainy Season in Japan
Tsuyu or Baiyu literally translates to Plum Rain, Rainy season in Japan is called this because it coincides with the season of plums ripening.
Tsuyu starts from the beginning of June and lasts until mid July.
After Tsuyu it gets so mushiatsui ( humid) and shoki (hot weather) in Japan, so not a good time to visit, lol.
